Northland

Grant - Hammond Motors Limited (Ford & Mazda Service Agent) - Kaitaia

"It's all going good, it streamlines things. Were finding it working pretty well.

Having it on my phone is better than carrying around a bulky WOF pad and you set it down somewhere while you are doing the WOF on the vehicle and you have to go back and forth to it. Whereas with the phone you can enter the failed reasons as you actually check things.

So far finding it easy to use, and it fits in well with our processes. The other tech using it here has taken to it like a duck to water. Its very user friendly. For straight forward WOF's I think it saves around 5 to 10 minutes per WOF.

Also everything on the WOF Checksheet is legible, so it meets the VIRM requirements with our printed text meeting that 100%.

I like the proactiveness of revising it and improving it. I think that is an important part that it is being actively monitored and streamlined. In the small time that I have seen it, I can see that you have continuous improvements which gives me more confidence in the product."
Al - Al's Mechanical Repairs Ltd - Kaitaia

"At first it was a bit of a forest for me. But after a bit of practice at home I got used to it, and it was pretty straight forward after that. Eventually once you realise it, its all there in front of you.

It seems to work well."
Scott - Scott's Automotive - Northland

"I'm happy with it. Obviously you have put a lot of work into getting it setup, which is a credit to you guys. I'm printing off a checksheet and leaving it the car, which looks way better than my scrawly handwriting. I'm using your eWOF system 100% now instead of paper checksheets. Its still a learning curve for me and I'm working on streamlining my internal processes.

From the admin side of things I'm not going to have great big piles of WOF checksheets anymore, and to have things stored electronically is a huge advantage. With NZTA approval its a terrific system. Its working out sweet from my perspective. Not having to muck around with paper checksheets is great.

I got your initial emails some time ago, but I wanted to do some checking up to see what was involved. Proabably like most of us change, especially when we are getting on a bit we are a bit more relucatant and wary of change. Frank our WOF Consultant had come through and it was the top of my list to ask him about this eWOF stuff, and as soon as he gave confirmation I was on to it.

I'm so impressed that you have got so much it done and its pretty much glitch free. From what I have used so far I can't fault it."
Ezra Wihongi - Ohaeawai Garage - Northland

"I love it, absolutely love it. It makes life a hell of a lot easier. Its amazing, I'm so happy Frank showed me, it is so easy. I'm keen to tell other garages about how easy it is and how much time it saves.

I failed a vehicle for rust and the customer wanted to see where the rust was, so I looked up the rego in the eWOF system and sent them the photo I had taken during the eWOF. They then understood why I had failed it."
Johnny - Whangarei Automotive - Whangarei

"Very good system, makes life so much easier. If it is a car that failed on a lot of stuff, then you can run out of space on the checksheet. Now you can write as much as you want with comments and everything, it makes life very very easy.

When I give the customers the eWOF checksheet they are quite surprised and enjoy it much more as it looks more professional and neater.

Definitely saves time. Especially with the Pass All, just click one button and then only mark off items that fail."
John - ONERAHI GARAGE LTD - Whangarei

"It's going really well. I like the system, it keeps keeps the WOF in the same order so we are all checking things in the same way. Everyone is on the same page.

Our young WOF inspector is getting ready to sit the WOF test and can use the training mode to get familiar with the system, and then he will be up to speed to. It saves the WOF sheets and saves so much time and save us money not having to buy the WOF books.

It speeds up the recheck process 100% by not having to look through tons of old WOF books and pages, and eveything is on your phone and you can walk out to the car and you know what to check.

I'm all for it and I let everybody I know who are doing WOF's they should be using the system."
Marc Head - Automotive Solutions Kauri Limited - Whangarei

"Ive been running the eWOF system alongside the MTA WOF checksheets while we get familar with it. Seems to be working well for me. I run it on my desktop as well.

It seems to be easy to use once you have done it a few times. It's a lot faster than paper. It's great that it is in the cloud so I can access it off multiple devices which is really cool.

It's really handy because the information is in one place and you can find it everytime, don't have to go hunting around for a WOF book. Anyone can enter the information from different areas or offices without having to find or share a WOF book."
Robbie and Dylan - Valid Automotive - Whangarei

"Robbie: Brillant idea. Makes our life easier. Works awesome. Saves so much time. Some techs you cant read their handwritting. Get checksheets from another workshop and you dont know what the heck its saying. Its pretty cool."

"Dylan: Massive time saver. Enjoyed the fact that I could take a photo of the rego tag and it got all the details and filled it all in for me, quite handy. Creating the checksheet was real nice and fast, all I had to do has skim through and and click boxes. Can just click for a pass, or add a comment if you want to, which is quite handy."
Chris - Dargaville Motors Ford - Dargaville

"At first it was a little difficult, as like anything where your doing something new and you have done it the same way for years and years it took a while to get use to. But after the second or third go and once I realised I could use it on my phone, it became really good.

Taking photos of the rego label on the windcreen of the car and the customer details off the repair order is really good, as sitting at the computer and writing all that stuff down is quite annoying.

I'm 100% with it. We don't have to keep buying the WOF books anymore. It saves time and now I am able to squeeze more WOF's in each day! Its really user friendly and easy to use. I'm really happy with it and totally onboard with it.

I recommend it to every single busy workshop. Wish it had been done years ago."
Zane - Mangawhai Mechanic Limited - Mangawhai

"I like it as it speeds up the WOF process and saves time. No messy hand writing and its nice and clear for the customers."

Auckland

Shane - Shore Automotive LTD - Albany

"Its saves time and therefore saving money. I love to be able to take photos of the rego label and customer details and it automatically puts them on the checksheet.

Its great having the system automatically generate the checksheets for the office staff, they love having that info in one place as well, its great.

There is a big benefit in you building the system from within a workshop, as others aren't on the floor everyday and don't know what its like, and what workshops need."
Ross - Balmoral Auto Repairs - Auckland

"I have been waiting for a while for someone to go digital and eWOF doesn’t disappoint.

Took about a month (don’t do a huge amount of wof’s) to get used to it but now I can’t imagine not using it.

They have thought of everything to make it as user friendly as possible down to emailing a digital copy to your own email address for future audit purposes.

Once Glenn explained how to set up Outlook to automatically put them into a folder I don’t even see them come through.

Would highly recommend going digital if you haven’t yet.

Thanks Glenn and the team at itsallauto. Keep up the good work.."
Liam - Birkdale Motors - Auckland

"For me personally, it's been good. It's more handy than having to pull out a book and muck around with all that sort of jazz. When it comes to recheck time, everything's already in the system, so you're just banging out the recheck and away you go. It's definitely better in that aspect because we have multiple inspectors here.

We used to have our own books, and we'd have to write down the inspection sheet number with the invoice when a car failed. Then, when the customer brought the car back in for a recheck, you'd have to find and input the WOF check number and all that. It was a pain in the ass, to be honest, so it's definitely helped in that respect. It functions pretty well.

I’ve had no issues with how it works. It's been really good man."
Graham and Aldy - Graham Ball Motorsport - Auckland

"We use an iPad to do everything. Absolutely love it, find it a lot easier. You can't really submit anything to NZTA if it's not done properly, the system doesn't allow you to move forward without the required fields to be filled out, which kind of eliminates that worry for being audited later and potentially things aren’t done properly, or we have left something out.

Just the fact that we don't have to worry and stress about that has just been amazing. We find it very user-friendly, really just happy with it. We literally have not used a WOF book since the start of 2025, it's been great."
SJ - Apex Automotive Services - Auckland

"The eWOF system is a lot better because it streamlines the WOF process quite a bit. It cuts out a lot of time that you take when you hand write things.

Its great that you can take a picture of the rego label and it brings up all the vehicle details, and most of the time it works perfectly. I think it should be the standard WOF system to be honest.

It saves all the paper. It also saves me significant time on each WOF. I like that there is a record online, and if you need to reprint a checksheet its there, its very very streamlined."
Nishantha - G & T Auto 2015 Limited - Auckland

"Previously it would take too much time to do a WOF, but now is really easy, we can tick Pass All and mark the items that are failed,, its super quick. Its awesome, I like that system. Took a little while to get use to it, but now that I'm getting used to it, its really quick."
Paul Sparkes - Coast 4x4 Ltd - Auckland

"Yeah, it's working well. It's a lot better than the SAM system we were using. One thing I do like is the fact you can just take a photograph of the rego and all the information's filled out. It's a lot quicker and easier. It generally speeds things up, especially the fact I can use it on my phone. So far, I've been impressed."
Wyatt - Waikaraka Park Service Centre 2013 - Auckland

"Been amazing, never seen something so simple to use. Its awesome being able to print the Checksheet and have the Reasons for Rejection readable rather than messy handwriting. It's a lot better than paperwork."
Scott - East Tamaki Automotive Limited - Auckland

"Pretty happy. Saves a few minutes on a WOF. Makes life easier and 10x better than the old paper checksheets.

Handy to have it open in reception to work out the estimate as well."
Syed Mirranay - Auckland Auto Clinic - Auckland

"Very happy with it. I like everything about it, because its very easy.

I don't need to write the things I want to fail, and most of the things I want to fail are in the drop down options, and written here, so it helps me a lot.

You don't need to write anything unless its not on the list. Most of the things are there in the list when I need to fail it. I think its really easy. Im happy with it, its really helpful."
Greg Dolan - Stone Field Autos - Auckland

"I'm old school, I've been doing WOF's for over 20 years now and this has come along its great. Its easy to use.

Going to be great when it integrates with the NZTA VIC system. It helps getting all the info right on the checksheet."
Jonathan - Weissach Motors (Courtney Ross Limited) - Auckland

"Once you're familiar with the system, it definitely creates efficiencies and makes the whole process much easier. The messy handwriting is gone, and the presentation to the customer is more professional and uniform. It speeds things up dramatically, and overall, I'm really liking it."
Dina - Surge AutoTech Limited - Auckland

"The system saves heaps of time, and I really love it. We don’t need to use those old books anymore, and our office admin finds it easier to read the check sheets, especially when things get busy and handwriting can get messy. It looks much neater and more professional for the customer, too.

I also love the email feature for sending check sheets directly to customers—it’s so much better than scanning and emailing the old-school way."
Jeremy - Auto Services Newmarket - Auckland

"Easy to use, once you get used to it. The ability to switch between WOF’s, plus its automatically saving them is awesome . Being able to email customers is a great feature.

Having the majority of the reasons for rejection in there automatically for the common ones in good. Everyone has them phone on them and no more looking for the WOF book."
Craig - Green Bay Auto Services Ltd - Auckland

"Once you get used to it, the system is bloody good. I really like the ability to take photos of customer details and store photos of any issues found during inspections.

It’s easy to search old WOF inspections without digging through mountains of paperwork—just enter a name, and it comes right up. It makes life so much easier."
Hasim - Super Cheap Tyres Manakau - Auckland

"Its good, lots of improvements lately. Its great, definitely a 9/10 if I was to rate it.

I like that fact that it emails me a copy of the checksheet as soon as I complete the WOF, that's a really good feature, that I am happy with. WOF label photos are pretty good.

It save time, very efficient on time. If I have the customers details I email the customer the failed checksheets and once the WOF repair work is done I email them a pass copy as well. its a very good feature."

Waikato

Allan Murray - Farm Services - Ohinewai

"Using the new electronic WOF system for WOF's has made entering details so much easier and time-saving, especially for Vin number checking which means in a year's time all the correct details will be updated.

Also less mistakes with correct information shown. The whole process takes less time.

Having a copy of a recheck definitely saves massive time when customers lose or damage the paper copy, so we have enjoyed being able to use this new method."
Graham - William Gills and Sons - Huntly

"It's going well. It's easier without having to write stuff down on paper. It's always in your pocket making it easy to access."
Tania - Duncan and Ebbetts (Jaguar and Land Rover) - Hamilton

"Easy to use and nice and clear. Saves times not having to write, I'm all about less writing. Helps the checksheets to be clearer and more accurate."
Brandon - Anglesea Court Motors 2016 LTD - Hamilton

"Yeah, I'm actually enjoying it. It's smooth, you go around, check all your lights, pass each one, and if something's not working, you just click it and that's your reason. It makes life so much easier.

I don't have to walk to the office grabbing pen and paper or do my signature six times a day; now my name's already on it.

Taking a photo of the rego sticker brings up all the info, so you don't have to hunt down the VIN. The process is much easier overall. I think more people should use it, especially the younger ones—it really speeds up the process."
Matthew - Hillcrest Autos - Hamilton

"It's going really well. We do a lot of WOF’s and every time I think of an issue you guys seem to have it fixed it in an update. I've been telling everyone I know how good it is, I love it, I think it's brilliant.

We changed some of our systems so it works better. Got an iPad and a keyboard and made my workshop laptop redundant. So I either use my phone or iPad to do the WOF, and it's also used on the computers in the office. Works really well."
Rani - Automotive Mobile Solutions - Hamilton

"I think it's sweet as. It saves me about 10 minutes each time, and it's really easy to use. I learned off the VTNZ InSpec system, so it was easy to pick up. Definitely a big time saver. Everything's still sweet as the last time I used it."
Phill Attwood - Owner of A & H Motors 2015 Limited - Te Awamutu

"Glenn walked into my workshop back in August 2024 with a pitch that I'm pleased I took the time to listen to.
339 WOF Inspections later and I couldn't imagine not having the itsallauto.com eWOF system integrated into our daily workshop procedures.

Their system is simple to use, it's a great time saver and the efficiency of WOF rechecks is so much better when there's no great big dusty pile of inspection sheets to dig through.
Glenn and the team are super focused on continual improvement and absorb every suggestion allowing them to do so.

I'm excited for the future of this system for the value it will bring into my business."
Andrew - Kihikihi Garage - Kihikihi

"What I like about your system compared to competitors is that you're prepared to listen and grow the software. That willingness to adapt and improve the software for users really stands out."

Bay of Plenty

Luke - Autoworld Papamoa - Papamoa

"Yeah, it's good. The system generates drop-down lists for reasons of rejection, which is really handy. Plus, when using it on an iPad or phone, it remembers the keywords and phrases you use often, making it easier to auto-fill reasons for rejection and comments. It's a solid system, and I’m happy with how it works so far."
Jolene - Bethlehem Motors - Tauranga

"Love it. Can bang through the WOF's. Definitely way faster. Everything on the checksheet is typed so not accidently getting a letter wrong. Everything is clearer.

The recheck system is cool, I like that. When you put in the reasons for rejections you can fit a lot more in there than on the paper checksheets. We use one of the scan pads to run the eWOF. Definitely great thinking.

From an admin side of things we are really happy with it."
Jeremy - J & S Automtoive - Te Puke

"Its going real good. We were using Mechanics Desk eWOF and that is just a sheet where you tick boxes on, whereas this is more of a step forward with the way technology is going.

One thing that is really helpful for me is a a slightly older mechanic is the mic button, where I can use speech to txt to add reasons for rejections or comments.

We did some reseach and we purchased android phones for $199 for the VI's here to do eWOF's on so they dont have to use their own phones, and they are working well and processing everything fine.

If the WiFi drops in and out you can still use the eWOF system which is great, as I'm not having to pay for SIM card account plans for all those phones."

Taranaki

Scott - Auto Super Shoppe Hawera

"Its good, it does make it easier. I always have problems with computers, I hate them and they hate me. But it seems to work good, I'm happy with it and the photos of the regos. Cuts the paper work down.

Whats great for me is that I'm not always looking for where I put down the WOF pad last, especially if I get distracted. Thats probably why we will stay with our phones rather than tablets as they are always in our pockets. Great system."
Andy Beccard - Beccard Motors - Hawera

"Finding it very good and very useful. The younger guys have picked it up very quickly. Some of us older guys are taking a bit longer to come to terms with it. We will get use to it. I find it very helpful.

Once everyone is familiar with it, then it will be a time saver and a paper saver for WOF checksheets, and they are a cost as well. We won't have to use the dot matrix printer and special paper anymore. Saving of time and money."

Gisborne

Jamie - Simpson Automotive - Gisborne

"What I like about it is that you can give the customer a form they can actually read, rather than trying to decipher my handwriting. It’s a more professional-looking form. It's also easy to find check sheets for rechecks, which helps when customers lose their original forms.

It's a really good system, suits the timing with the VIC integration, and it's way tidier, you don't have old WOF books lying around that you have to destroy later on. Overall, despite small glitches, it's a great system."
Jason - Autozone Gisborne Ltd - Gisborne

"It makes our life easier with the rechecks and not having to worry about the books. Easier to open it up and go to rechecks and there it is. It's a nice easy to use system so I quite like it.

The workshop tablet was just a big too big to move around so everyone is using a phone and it seems to work well.

It will be cool when the NZTA allow it to integrate with the VIC system. Definately makes things a lot quicker

Easy, quicker and way more portable for the guys. If the customer doesn't want a paper check sheet, then we can just send them an email. Taking a photo of the rego label and customer details is pretty good."
Jason - Enterprise Motor Group - Gisborne

"Saves me a lot of time on each WOF not having to hand write everything, and the office and customers can read my writing. Pretty awesome system."

Hawke’s Bay

Corey Townshend - Suvic Engineering Ltd - Onekawa Napier

"itsallauto's eWOF has been fantastic and simple to use. Since December 2024, I’ve been able to record WOFs directly from my smartphone, saving time when a vehicle arrives for its WOF. Instead of walking to my office to grab paperwork, I can simply pull out my phone and input the customer details.

Even better, by taking a photo of the vehicle's registration tag, most of the vehicle details are automatically uploaded. When entering the details into VIC, the registration, mileage, and the last six digits of the VIN are conveniently pre-filled, making the process quicker, along with a section for completing the WOF pass."
Darren - Pit Stop Hastings - Hastings

"The system has been a huge improvement. It speeds up the procedure, makes things clearer, and the format is much more understandable. Taking the human element of handwriting out of the mix is a big bonus, everything looks more professional and uniform.

Once you get used to the system, it’s brilliant and really user-friendly. It’s a massive time-saver compared to the old paper-based methods, and overall, we're over the moon with how well it works."
Wayne - Macfarlane Auto's - Rotorua

"At first, it took a bit of getting used to, but now I'm really enjoying it, it's working really well. The ability to upload photos is fantastic. Customers can actually see what their vehicle was failed on, like cracked bushes or other issues, which makes them feel more confident about the WOF process.

It's definitely a time saver, you can smash out a warrant quickly, and customers appreciate that they can read the check sheet clearly instead of trying to decipher messy handwriting. Overall, it's a great system, and I'm really enjoying using it."

Manawatu – Wanganui

Jono - Jono's Garage - Waipukurau

"I’m really liking the system. It’s streamlined things a lot in my workshop. Once I got used to it, it became really straightforward to use. I love how it saves all my credentials like inspector and authority numbers, so I don’t have to re-enter them every time.

The ability to reorder the check sheet to fit my workflow is great too. I use it on my phone, copying the chassis number and mileage directly into the VIC system, and that makes the process super efficient. The photo feature is handy for documenting major issues like rust, and the system is overall a great time saver."
Sam - Wanganui Motors 1963 - Ford / Mazda Dealership

"I definitely like it, find it much better. Much better when looking for recheck sheets, its right there and don't have to go looking for the book.

It's a bit more efficient to take photos for the vehicle and customer details, as I don't have to write everything out. For me, that's better as I don't like writing lots of words on paper. The checksheet is also laid out well.

The changes you make occasionally with an update seem to make it work better."
Rennee & Christine - Advance Automotive - Palmerston North

Christine: "From an office perspective, I really love the system, especially the comment section update. It's super handy to have everything on one screen when inputting data, no need to close it or switch between screens to add comments.

When entering details into VIC, the summary and comments are right there, making it really easy to input everything quickly. I also like how I can see the WOF results immediately after Renee completes them, which speeds up the process significantly. The whole system definitely speeds up the day and reduces the paperwork hassle!"

Renee: "I prefer using the system because it means less paperwork. All the updates have been really good, making it very straightforward and easy to use.

It saves so much time, once I’m done, I can send it straight through, and Christine can process it immediately. It’s great for productivity, and overall, it’s a really good design."
Brian - B & M Styles Ltd TA The Workshop - Carterton

"Its going pretty well. Taking photos of the rego labels and the customer details works well.

Its far simpler setup than it was trying to hook up to the new NZTA VIC system. It's so simple to use and user friendly.

I'm not computer literate, but I had no issues getting your eWOF system up & working. If I can do it anyone can do it.

The other thing I like about it is that I took a photo of a damaged car and it put it in the eWOF which is really good."

Wellington

Tony - Nelson Street Motors - Wellington

"So far so good. Going really well. Its quick, easy and effective. Saves time and money."
Strat Campbell - Berhampore Service Depot - Wellington

"Definitely saving time. Makes the presentatio of the checksheet look a whole lot better as well. Everyone's hand writing is different, and often hard to read, so thats one thing I really like about it.

Originally we were printing off in black and white, and now we are printing off in colour, makes it a whole lot better for the customer.

The other thing that is really good is that were putting their WOF checksheet and put it on the passengers seat of their car, now we print it off in the office and attatch it to their invoice."

Tasman – Nelson

Paul - Motueka WOF's, Auto Super Shoppe - Motueka

"I'm sold on the system. It's pretty easy to use once you learn to navigate it, and it saves a lot of time and paperwork. It's also very easy to set up on tablets for use."

West Coast – South Island

David - Lake Brunner Service Centre - Moana

"I've been doing paper WOF's for close to 30 years now. The more I'm using this eWOF sytem the more the more I'm enjoying it. I think that its great, I'm not using pen and paper anymore.

It is quick and easy. I can take my phone to the computer and easily enter the details into the VIC. Definitely enjoying it."
Clarke Johnston - Clarke Johnston Motors - Fox Glacier

"It is good, its easy to use, its very tidy. Its very good to go and find something, as it is so much better.

I even made a file on my email where I store all the email checksheet records in case someone from NZTA comes to have a look, and that is so much better than pages, and pages of stuff.

Im very happy with it, and I'm definitely continuing with it. Its miles better, especially in the way you can go out and take that photograph to get the vehicle details."

Canterbury

Brent - Springfield Service Centre - Canterbury

"Pretty happy with it, and its going pretty good. Its a good tool without having to write things down, as not everyone can write things down on paper, so its ideal for that.

Its pretty straight forward and simple to use. We have only just started using it and are still learning all of the system, and can see that once we a totally familiar with it, it will definitely be quicker than paper WOF's.

Its good that you can come and go from a WOF and its saved drafts. Its quite cool that our person in reception can see the WOF and handle the admin side for us"
Nigel - Broomfield Automotive - Amberley, North Canterbury

"We find it easier, as its nice and clear. Good printout for the customer so they can actually see whats wrong with their cars.

The drop down reasons for rejections help a lot with spelling and people dont have to try to read our hand writing...

Saving a bit of time which is good."
Jason - SPRINGSTON AUTO LTD - Christchurch

"Its streamlining our WOF process. Saving us time. Easy to find rechecks and can do them on the phone making it easier. Its been pretty good, just about to do another one."
Mark - John Finlay Motors - Christchurch

"Yeah, it's a really good system. The email system goes out, people know when their car's ready. They're much easier to find than the warrants when you've failed them, that's for sure. It's working really well, and we're happy with it."
Jayden The WOF Shop Christchurch

"Great system. Its all pretty straight forward which its been good. Doing rechecks is great, so easy to find a recheck, two seconds and done.

The Pass All button works great, compared to other systems. The system does save me time."
Anthony - Miles Continental (VW Dealership) - Christchurch

"In my opinion, the system is really convenient. The techs that actively use it find it easy to complete the e-WOF inspections on their phones. Once they've finished the checks, they copy and paste the results directly into the NZTA Vic system, which makes the process quick and efficient.

Rechecks are quite seamless, you don’t have to search through old books to find the check sheet, as everything is electronic. The e-check sheet is great because it allows us to email customers directly, supporting those who prefer electronic communication.

It fits well with our other electronic systems like service triage and Volkswagen's Service Cam. Overall, it's a great electronic support tool."
Anton - Jacks Service Centre 2011 Ltd - Christchurch

"It's very easy to use, and we've had no real issues with scanning regos, just the occasional VIN that needs to be entered manually. Once you get used to it, it's really quick and efficient.

The ability to email the check sheet directly to customers instead of printing saves a lot of time and reduces paper clutter. It’s also a better system overall because it integrates with our main computer, providing a solid audit trail.

Rechecks are seamless since everything is stored electronically, and the option to take photos really helps explain issues to customers. It’s a quicker, more streamlined process that makes things easier for both us and our customers."
Alex - GB Motors - Christchurch

"As soon as I spoke to you (Glenn) I sign up and I was doing them 5 minutes later and Ive never looked back. I haven't touched another WOF sheet. I'm finding the system really straight forward, I've got it on my phone which I use most of the time, and I have also got in on our 3 different diagnostic tools as well.

The first day I started using it I went to the closest workshops to me and said check this out, its so easy.

For a lot of people it feels like a big step to take, but realistically its not, its quite straight forward. You dont need to deal with the paper and the records are so much easier to find.and deal with.

Its far easier than going through a box of paper when you need to find a WOF sheet from a week ago. Its much easier to find and email the WOF sheet to the customer through your eWOF system."
Jeremy - Kevin Stephen Motors - Leeston Canterbury

"It is working really well, it makes the whole system a lot smoother. Easier to log details for the customer and the vehicle, and then it's a lot easier to trace things afterwards as well.

We're really enjoying it. Anton and Jacks Service Centre showed me the system and the next day we started using it, as simple as that, it's a straightforward process. Looking forward to when the WOF reminder system is built into it.

It's a pretty good streamlined process."
Damien - The Wof Shop 2024 - Christchurch

"Its a lot faster than the eWOF system from Mechanics Desk. The things that I like are the Pass All, and the Recheck system is good. Its a great system and I'm looking forward to your future updates.

Key thing for us is the speed and ease of use, plus the photos of the rejections are really good. Its a good product, cant wait to see whats around the corner for it"
Brett - Mackenzie Country Motors - Fairlie

"Absolutely loving it. Doing most of them on the phone now as its far easier. Just makes it easier for us and WOF's are loaded with customer details in the office, and it works really well.

Its awesome that you can copy and paste out the eWOF screen straight into the NZTA VIC system."
Shane Rogers - Showgrounds Auto Services - Timaru

"I saw it in the Automotive Solutions forum on the Wednesday night (5 March 2025), so I signed up at home. Came in the next morning and its just brillant, its so easy a mechanic can understand it.

I really haven't had any real hiccups. I can't really fault it so far. So easy to use. Its getting very positive feedback from the Automotive Solutions group"

"Once you have got used to the system I do find it reasonably easy, especially for certain information when using the phone, just clicking and getting the information.

I reckon its saving us about 5 minutes per WOF. Its making things more streamlined and easier for house keeping. Its easier for searching for your failed WOF's for rechecks. Less people involved for the house keeping of the administration of the WOFs.

Your checksheet is easy to use and easy for me to do WOF's everyday. Its whats needed to keep up with the times"

Otago

Roger Hill - Hill Automotive Alexander Limited, Auto Super Shoppes - Central Otago

"We have been using the new electronic WOF system for 2 months (since late 2024) now and have found it to be brilliant.

It has sped up our WOF process and looks so much more professional than a hand written check sheet and with the option to email the check sheet directly to the customer from the site means less paper.

The techs in the shop love it as it is very easy to operate and being able to quickly find a check sheet for a recheck is such a bonus.

This is a great invention and would highly recommend."
Simon - Stewart Motors - Queenstown

"Saves us time which is great. Its used to take us more time looking for and filling out paper checksheets.

The whole thing is more efficient. Taking the photo of the rego label is faster and easier. Frees up time for other jobs and once all our Vehicle Inpsectors are using it the time saving will be even better."
Reuben - Kingston Mechanical - Queenstown

"Going good, all positive at the moment. Its really handy and I’m having no problems. Saves time on every WOF."

Southland

Richard - Riversdale Service Station 2009 Ltd - Southland

"Yeah, it's very good. I really like the ease of going back and finding check sheets and rechecks, or if you need to look up information on a vehicle, it's simple to go through multiple check sheets electronically.

It's really quick and definitely saves time. We're really enjoying it overall, and the techs find it much easier compared to flipping through old paper records. Some of the younger customers even notice and appreciate the technology, while the older ones are a bit more curious about it."
Chris Gillan - Autoworx Gore Ltd - Gore

"It seems to be reasonably easy to use. Once you are over the learning curve it is definitely quicker than paper based WOF's.

Definitely a time saver. Its a simpler way to do WOF's."
Richard - Hokonui Honda - Gore

"Its a handy thing to have in the palm of your hand, rather than carrying a checksheet. It does save time.

It makes you feel more confident and professional, and its a professional feel for the customer.

Some of the customers have really enjoyed having the checksheets emailed to them, before they pick up their car. They know what's wrong with it before they pick up their car and they can ring up and say go ahead and fix it, so that's quite good."
Matt Tretheway - Tramway Motors - Invercargill

"Massive time saver! Not only when doing a WOF check, but also when looking up previous checks to quote repairs or entering a recheck."

It's really intuitive and fits in my pocket, I won't miss the paper check sheets."
Kevin - Riverside Autos - Invercargill

"Absolutely loving the system. Biggest thing I love about it is being able to email it straight to the customer.

Less paper work and customers absolutely that idea as well, they dont have to worry about holding the old checksheet, putting them in the glovebox, and piling everything up.

It is a lot easier to use, if you make a mistake you can rectify it straight away. With the paper checksheets if you make a mistake you cant really twink it out. With this you can delete it and fix it."
Calvin Little - Newfield Autos - Invercargill

"Really like it, makes things much easier. Just need to tap the reason for rejection rather than writing it out. Can just keep the phone in your pocket while walking around the car.

Really like the option of printing out blank checksheets in case the eWOF system is not available."
