Here’s a step-by-step guide to walk you through what you’ll learn in the 6-minute express training video:
1. Sign Up and Get Started
The first step is quick and easy. Visit our site and sign up for your free account. There’s no complicated onboarding, just enter your basic details to create your profile and gain immediate access to the platform. 2. Enter Training Mode
Before diving into real inspections, you can explore Training Mode. This feature is perfect for getting familiar with the system without affecting any actual records. It’s a risk-free environment that lets you click around, explore features, and simulate a full inspection from start to finish
3. Set Up Your Profile (optional)
Once you’re ready, head into your settings to set up your business profile. Here, you’ll:
- Input your MS (Company Authority) and VI (Vehicle Inspector) numbers
- Upload your company logo to personalise the checksheet
- Choose the order of your inspection steps to suit your workflow
- Add your GST number for professional, compliant documentation
This step ensures everything is tailored to your business from the get-go.
4. Run a Pretend Inspection
With Training Mode still active, you can now run a pretend inspection. This is a hands-on way to understand how the system works, without the pressure. It mirrors the real process so you know exactly what to expect when working with an actual vehicle.
5. Take Photos for Documentation
As part of the inspection process, you can take photos of the vehicle’s registration label on the windscreen of the vehicle to get all the vehicle details, including the VIN number. You can also take a photo of your customer screen or Job Card/Repair Order to get the customer details. These are automatically attached to the checksheet, making your reports more robust and credible.
There is no need for integration into your workshop software as the next time the vehicle comes in, simply enter the rego number, and it will have remembered the vehicle and customer details.
6. Mark Items as Pass, Reasons for Rejection, or Add Comments
For each item in the inspection, you can choose to Pass, mark as a Reason for Rejection (RFR), or add comments for further context. This flexible system allows you to be as detailed or streamlined as needed, helping maintain high inspection standards and clear communication.
7. Review & Email the WOF Checksheet
Once the inspection is complete, you can instantly review the WOF checksheet. If desired, you can email it directly to the customer or print it for their records. It’s a professional touch that improves customer service and builds trust.
