Known Issues with eWOF Update for 4 June 2025

We put an update out last night. You can see the Change Log at the bottom of this information which explains all of the update improvements. Thank you to the people who let us know about the issues they have found this morning. Our intention is to debug and fix the issues today and deploy a fix for these tonight (4 June) around 7pm.

Rechecks
There are instances where some users report an error message similar to “Error Saving Inspection Data” when attempting to perform a Recheck after the update overnight. We believe this is to do with the Cache on some devices causing issues. If this happens, please try:
1. Refreshing the page.
2. Also on an Android phone or tablet, you can try tapping on the 3 dots at the right hand top of the screen and then tapping “Delete Browsing Data” and make sure the last 15 Minutes is selected, then Delete Data.

If this still occurs to you can you please contact us and we can pass the WOF for you.

Can you please also tell us as much as possible about the sequence of events before the error occurred? For example, 

  1. Was the recheck the first thing you did in the eWOF system today?
  2. Did you use the recheck button from the home screen?
  3. Did you click on the recheck from the eChecksheet screen?
  4. Did you click on Same Day Recheck?

Tyre Photos
The update overnight is missing the Camera icon to take photos of tyres in C8: Tyre Tread and Depth section. 

In the meantime to be able to add photos, you can use the next option down “Wheels, Hubs and Axles”. Browse to the correct tyre reason for rejection (such as Tread depth below requirement). You can then take a photo as required, and the photo will have the correct text on it.

Can you please let us know if you are getting any unusual error messages such as: The Vehicle has already been entered…..

Pending VIC and Editing an Inspection

  • There is now a checkbox called Details Entered into VIC System that can be found in the WOF Details during an inspection or in the inspector notes when viewing the checksheet.
  • If left unchecked, you can edit the finished inspection until midnight on the same day the checksheet was created.
  • From 4 pm onwards, you will receive notifications informing you of any WOFs still pending VIC Details.
  • When viewing completed WOFs, there is now a tab called Pending VIC. This will show you all inspections that have yet to have the Details Entered into VIC System checkbox ticked.

Comments and Reasons for Rejection

  • Entering a failed value for tyre tread depth or parking/service brake will automatically generate a reason for rejection.
  • You can now edit existing comments and reasons.
  • Comments and reasons now show a maximum character limit.

Customer Details

  • Customer details will now be saved if at least the name and contact information are provided.
  • The system now shows potential matching customers as you type.

Notifications

  • Inspections now have notifications, which can be found by clicking the bell icon in the task bar.
  • Clicking a notification will mark it as read and allow it to be deleted.

Tyre Details

  • Under the items Tyre tread depth and Tyre Condition, there is a tyre details dropdown that can be opened to enter tyre details.
  • The tyre photo will attempt to extract Tyre size, speed rating, brand, type of tyre. e.g 185/65R15, 82H, Go Pro, Asymetric (The system currently can’t accurately detect Symmetrical tyres.)
  • The user must then check and correct any mistakes.

Other Changes

  • When inspecting a car or trailer, you can now expand the tyre tread depth table to add middle and inner rear tyres.
  • The checksheet now shows (Conflict) next to the customer details title if a conflict of interest has been flagged.
  • You can toggle the “Set Inspection Item” button back to unselected.
  • Pressing Pass All a second time will undo the pass-all action.
  • The system now saves whenever a user opens, closes, or navigates between sections.
  • You can have multiple inspections open on different tabs without interference.
  • The LVV certificate number plate has been added under Modified Vehicle in the Under-Bonnet section.
  • When entering the new WOF expiry, up to an extra 14 days will be added if the previous WOF was less than a year ago.
  • A saving symbol now appears at the top right of the page to indicate when the inspection has just been saved.
  • Styling updates to the Draft and Finished WOF lists.

Fixes

  • Reasons and comments now fill the boxes on the checksheet before expanding to the next page.
  • You can no longer create a recheck once a pass recheck has been performed.
